Supervision Philosophy
For me, coaching is an aid in learning about oneself, discovering one’s own underutilized resources, recognizing obstacles and resistance to development. Development is built into every human being, it is ours to help the client recognize and remove obstacles, and he will continue on his own. Essential for change is a relationship of full respect for the autonomy of the person we work with, a relationship in which an atmosphere of freedom is created to search for the client’s personal truth, without fear of condemnation or rejection.
The coach’s personality (ability to establish a report) is a key agent of change. Knowledge and techniques are just additional tools. I have the same philosophy regarding supervision: this is an equal relationship between two people in which the supervisor is only a person with more knowledge and experience who helps the supervisee to develop their own competencies and their own style of work within the code of ethics and the competences of the profession.
Interests, free time
Music is my passion (I used to be a professional musician), I compose and arrange “for my soul”. Writing is also my passion. I have published several novels, collections of poems, essays … some of my books have been bestsellers, translated into several languages …
My hobbies are carpentry, restoration of antiques, agriculture, gardening. Interests: neuroscience, biofeedback and neurofeedback, research in psychotherapy and coaching. I live and work in Belgrade-Serbia
